Data Processing Agreement Requests

IngestX can provide a Data Processing Agreement for customers that require one as part of onboarding, procurement, or legal review.

What this request page covers

This page is a public summary and request path. No public DPA is offered for execution at this URL, and no repository draft is an operative contract.

The final DPA should be read together with the applicable order form, statement of work, or master services agreement.

Execution-copy completeness

Before a DPA is presented for signature, the execution copy must state its effective date and version and include or expressly incorporate the completed processing details, security-measures schedule (including any Schedule 3 used by that agreement), transfer terms, and the approved-provider annex (including any Annex C used by that agreement).

Incident-notification, change-notice, assistance, return, retention, and deletion terms are commitments only when they appear in a complete DPA approved for the deployment and executed by the parties. This public page does not promise a 72-hour contractual notice period, a fixed deletion period, or approval of any provider.

Typical role allocation

• For customer-submitted business documents, the customer will usually act as the data controller.
• In those workflows, IngestX will usually act as the data processor and process customer data according to the applicable agreement and documented customer instructions.
• IngestX may separately act as a controller for its own website, support, billing, account-security, and related internal business operations.

Typical DPA topics

• controller and processor roles;
• customer instructions and scope of processing;
• security measures and restricted access;
• retention, return, and deletion handling;
• incident notification and cooperation;
• approved subprocessors and transfer handling;
• assistance with customer diligence and privacy reviews; and
• audit or assurance information available through the agreed process.

• whether you need a DPA markup or IngestX paper; and
• any procurement or signature deadline.
